Why A Male Pattern Baldness Sufferer Can’t Stop Taking Propecia
Over the course of a year or so that I’ve been looking into treatment for male pattern baldness, I’ve come across many horror stories of people stopping taking Propecia and losing their results, and then panicking and wanting them back again.
If you listen to nothing else, take this one piece of advice: If you feel you are getting results from Propecia, and you are intent on keeping your hair, then you can’t ever stop Propecia.
People maybe seem to forget that although they have successfully blocked the DHT from working away at their follicles, they can never stop genetics. Your genes remember. They know how bald you should be – and once you stop Propecia, they’ll fast track you right back to where you should be.
Of course, a tablet here and there really won’t make a difference if for some emergency reason you can’t take them… but it’s when you start going weeks, or months that the damage will be done.
You really need to get a grip on this. Plan. Make sure that if you are going to be away from home that you take your medication with you, or take it before you go, or whatever the case may be. Be sure you have enough money set aside each month to continue purchasing your Propecia so you don’t run out.
Never, ever get a false sense of security. Your balding problem never goes away… consider Propecia a guy doing a lay-in-the-road protest holding the traffic up temporarily (for a good while, if fortunate). As soon as that guy is dragged away by the cops, well, that traffic is going to be back in full flow.
